“Only when our clients become robots shall we rely upon apps, platforms and automated updates as a substitute for real customer service. Until such time we shall continue to treat our clients as human beings with the same hopes, dreams, fears and anxieties as we all know and share.

Further, we shall set aside sufficient time throughout each journey to understand and help manage these human traits, whilst at the same time delivering our market-leading legal services.

This is what it means to be an ‘Elite Lawyer’ and there shall be no exception to this.”

– Hayley Hellon – Director, Head of Legal Practice

With so many conveyancing providers advertising and making the same generic promises it can be difficult to differentiate between them all. In the absence of any clear differentiators most people will make their decision based upon price or location, which is a decision that many then go on to regret.

What you can expect from us…

Communication

We recognise that conveyancing isn’t just about the legal work but rather helping clients through, what many would consider to be, one of the most stressful periods of their lives. We make sure that all of our lawyers set aside time throughout every transaction to ensure that we actually talk to our clients; to help you understand and navigate your way through the legalities and therefore allay much of the stresses and frustrations often associated with the conveyancing process.

You will be looked after by one of our Elite Lawyers from start to finish and will receive their email address and direct dial immediately upon instruction to ensure communication remains open throughout your time with us.

Services

As a residential conveyancing law firm, we offer a full range of services.

  • Freehold Sale and / or purchase
  • Leasehold Sale and / or purchase
  • Remortgage
  • Transfer of Equity
  • Voluntary Lease Extensions

If you have a conveyancing matter not listed above, please do not hesitate to contact our team to discuss whether we are able to assist.

Speed

We understand what an unsettling period this can be for our clients and accept the frustrations often associated with the conveyancing process itself. We therefore aim to get our clients to exchange contracts (the point at which the deal becomes legally binding and everyone can relax) as quickly as we possibly can.

Whilst we target all of our lawyers to be ready to contracts within 30 days, regrettably parts of the process are outside of our control and we are therefore often waiting upon third parties to provide information. Timescales are therefore difficult to predict and can range from 4 to 12 weeks from instruction to exchange of contracts. Please do not agree to any specific dates as proposed by other parties without first speaking with your lawyer.

Price

We are not the cheapest in the market but equally we are not the most expensive either. You might think that this is a strange way to be promoting our services but it is indicative of our open and honest approach. Our average fees are between £800 and £1,500, depending upon the property tenure and value.

Wherever possible and unlike other firms, we will look to include every cost and disbursement within your original quote. Our fees are fixed and only payable upon completion, which makes it far easier for you to budget.
